Please Join Us Oct. 6-8 for 2023 PTSW Alumni Weekend

Returning student Piper Tamler shows off the bent lamination chair she crafted during this year’s Art of Furniture intensive.

Calling All PTSW Alumni!

Please join us for the weekend of Oct. 6-8 (that's Friday, Saturday and Sunday), when we'll gather as many of you as possible together for a few days of social and educational activities, shop tours, and the presentation of our annual Founders Award in a smaller, more casual gathering than in previous years.

This will be a great opportunity for you to visit with former classmates, meet other alums, reconnect with instructors, maybe learn about job, fellowship and scholarship opportunities in the woodworking world, and catch up on what's happening at the School. Feel free to bring your spouse or significant other. Even the kids!

One highlight of the weekend will be a catered buffet dinner Saturday night hosted by PTSW, when we'll finally be able to present the Founders Award to alum Andrea Ramsay, shop manager for noted Seattle wood sculptor John Grade and teacher at Pratt Fine Arts Center. Several previous attempts to present this award were canceled due to Covid.

There's no cost to attend, but you will be on your own for accommodations and some meals. You might consider booking rooms in area hotels, reserving campsites, or staying with friends. Feel free to bring your spouse or significant other. Even your kids!

Whether you can attend or not, please consider signing up for our monthly Enews by clicking HERE to receive (very) occasional alumni updates. You can unsubscribe anytime and we won’t share your information with anyone.

If you’re sure you will attend, please CLICK HERE to let us know how many people will be joining you for group meals. We look forward to seeing you, and staying connected with everyone!
