SHOP TECHNICIAN

Full-Time (32-40 hrs./week) | Non-Exempt
$20.00–$28.00/hour | Port Townsend

Port Townsend School of Woodworking seeks a disciplined self-starter for a full-time (32-hour-per-week) Shop Technician position. We are looking for an adaptable team player with a willingness to learn and a passion for woodworking. The anticipated start date is September 2026, following a paid 2-week training period.

This position supports the preparation and maintenance of our facilities, which allows our courses, students, and educators to succeed in their woodworking practice. Ideal candidates have strong organizational and communication skills, experience coordinating operations or programs, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment. Experience in nonprofit, arts, education, or community organizations is preferred.
