Japanese Woodworking Festival

Saturday, August 15th, 10 am-5 pm at Fort Worden State Park.
Join PTSW for a full day of fun, including: log hewing with adzes & axes, sharpening & tool preparation, blacksmithing & tool making, joinery practice, a sawing competition, and lectures on forestry & Japanese tools. Click here for more details.

Woodworkers Show

Master woodworkers from around the region display their art and craft at the American Legion Hall in downtown Port Townsend during the Annual Woodworkers Show, brought to you by Port Townsend School of Woodworking & The Splinter Group. This event typically runs the first weekend of November. Do you live on the Olympic Peninsula and want to show your work? Contact The Splinter Group.

Wooden Boat Festival

The Port Townsend Wooden Boat Festival is held annually on the second weekend in September. Come show off your hand plane skills, or let this be your first time trying. Staff and faculty will be present to talk about current projects, courses, and the school’s mission.

Monthly Potluck

Join the PTSW community for a monthly potluck, held every second Thursday of the month from 5-7pm, out front of Building 315 at Fort Worden State Park. Bring a dish to share and connect with the greater woodworking community!
