Annual Founders' Award breakfast & fundraiser

The Founders' Award Breakfast & Fundraiser takes place at Fort Worden State Park every spring. If you would like to attend, please email media@ptwoodschool.org.

community presentations

We are hosting presentations throughout the year at the Chimacum Grange, just south of Port Townsend. Please sign up for our E-Newsletter to be notified about these events. We focus on Grange-related topics. If you have a valuable Grange-related presentation that involves a traditional trade and would like to be sponsored, please contact Kim Carver at media@ptwoodschool.org to discuss whether your content falls within our mission.

wooden boat festival

The 2018 Port Townsend Wooden Boat Festival dates are September 7th, 8th & 9th. Our booth and stage are near Doc's Marina Grill on the northeast corner of the festival grounds. Each day of festival our instructors will give presentations at the Woodworking Stage near our booth.

woodworker's show

The 2018 Port Townsend Woodworker's Show dates are November 3rd & 4th. 25 Master woodworkers from around the region will display their art and craft at the American Legion Hall in downtown Port Townsend. Brought to you by PTSW & The Splinter Group. Want to show your work? Registration opens July 1st, 2018.

classroom visits

During classes, you are welcome to visit our bench rooms on Friday or Sunday afternoons. Please respect the learning environment by entering and leaving quietly, and by not distracting students. If they are not busy with students, an instructor or teaching assistant will often come over to greet you and answer a few questions. If nobody is available to talk with you, feel free to watch quietly from the entryway area for a few minutes and take a brochure. Our classrooms are on the west side of the Fort Worden upper campus, within buildings 315 & 304.
