Kelsey Horton

Kelsey is a woodworker and artist living and working in Chimacum, WA. Kelsey started exploring furniture-making and design classes with Ebanista in Seattle at the start of 2025.  Spring of 2026, they graduated from PTSW’s 6 month Woodworking Intensive program and began training with Periscope Woodcraft, a local timber framing company.  They began their pursuit of art after landing in Seattle with explorations of ink, paint, and hand-poke tattoos while working as a bike mechanic. The combination of beauty and functionality inherent to furniture design has sparked a new passion and lifelong pursuit of learning. Kelsey is excited by modern abstractions of organic forms in all of their creative endeavors. They also love the quiet and slow meditation of hand tool finishing and the beauty in the human imperfections left behind.
