HAND TOOL WOODWORKING

Hand Plane Essentials

Hand Plane Essentials

Sharpening with whetstones

Sharpening with whetstones

We believe that all woodworkers should start woodworking by learning how to use hand tools as it builds an intimate relationship between the woodworker and the wood.

Our hand tool woodworking classes, designed by Jim Tolpin, cover the use, sharpening and maintenance of hand tools; hand tool joinery; furniture construction techniques and traditional finishing techniques.

We offer two tracks for a comprehensive introduction: the weekend series and the week-long series, which cover much of the same content but complete different projects.

**These classes are not required to be taken in a series.**

Weekend Hand Tool Series
